Ex-Proof Doors

The interior door for potentially explosive atmospheres.

In addition to a standard frequency converter and a microprocessor control, the EFA-SRT® EX for indoor use includes all typical basic characteristics of state-of-the-art door technology, such as dynamic door leaf tension and emergency opening via spring systems in the door cases. A hand lever at the door case allows for quick emergency opening of the door system, e.g. in case of power failure. We use a black, non-transparent ATEX special curtain as the door leaf.

EX directives

The EFA-SRT® EX has been specially developed in accordance with the ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU for use in hazardous areas for Zone 1, Zone 2, Zone 21 and Zone 22. The control cabinet must be installed outside the EX zone!

Reliable explosion protection

Every part of the door is specially designed to meet the requirements of the ATEX Directive (94/9/EC).
The black, antistatic special curtain of the high-speed roll-up door is certified according to ATEX category 2G/2D (corresponds to Ex zone 1/21) and is also transversely stable, which prevents the door leaf from bulging inwards or outwards.
The cases made of sendzimir-galvanised steel are also available powder-coated acc. to RAL or in stainless steel V2A (1.4301) on request.

Maximum safety

Kapi Sistemleri high-speed doors also meet the highest standard in terms of safety.
Every single electrical component (with the exception of the control cabinet) is ATEX-certified; the certificates are supplied with the respective door. The mechanical EX protection is of course also designed according to the EX protection zone and each door receives its own EU declaration of conformity.
